1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cafe Sync ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VIDHUVIC.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Service
Cafe Sync is a Point of Sale (POS) and cafe management platform providing:
- Point of Sale: Transaction processing, receipt generation, payment management.
- Staff Management: Server profiles, shift scheduling, performance tracking.
- Inventory Management: Product catalog, stock tracking, inventory alerts.
- Reporting: Sales reports, profit and loss analysis, business intelligence.
- Cloud Sync: Optional cloud synchronization via Neon Postgres for multi-device access.
- Billing & Subscriptions: Tiered plans with Stripe, PayPal, and Favara payment processing.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account and register your business. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials, including PINs.
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
- Notify us immediately at admin@vidhuvic.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Cafe Sync only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Process fraudulent or illegal transactions.
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or connected systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service without authorization.
5. Payment Terms
Cafe Sync offers free and paid subscription tiers. For paid tiers:
- Billing: Fees are billed monthly or yearly in advance.
- Payment Methods: Stripe, PayPal, and Favara.
- Free Trial: Trial accounts revert to free tier unless a paid plan is selected.
- Refunds: Non-refundable except where required by law. Access continues until end of billing period.
- Price Changes: 30 days' notice for pricing changes.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Cafe Sync are the exclusive property of VIDHUVIC, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of data you input into the Service. You grant VIDHUVIC a limited license to process your data solely for providing the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
- VIDHUVIC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages.
- Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.
- We do not warrant the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- You are responsible for maintaining regular backups of your data.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the billing period ends. We may suspend access for breach of Terms. Upon termination, data will be retained for a reasonable export period.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations, then binding arbitration in the Maldives.
10. Intellectual Property & Attribution
Cafe Sync is designed and owned by VIDHUVIC — a Maldivian technology startup. This is a proprietary product. Any resemblance to other copyrighted products is coincidental.
All third-party OSS and OFL dependencies are acknowledged and used in compliance with their licenses.
